F**k a throwback, let’s speak facts!! Main Source is one of the dopest hip hop groups ever!! Large Professor, K Cut, and Sir Scratch paived the way for a lot of greats. Not only did they introduce Nas to the world, they produced hits for some of your favorites. At the same time, they produced their own hits!! Large pro with the glasses and flow also possessed a crazy talent for production. Breaking Atoms was, and still is a hands down a hip hop classic!! Every joint on the album is a banger!! I got nothing but love and respect for them. Now let’s get this shit straight. When I joined Main Source, I never tried to fill Large Pro’s shoes!! Please knock it off!! I don’t produce, and I don’t rhyme anything like my bro. I got down to bring that raw street battle shit to the table, not replace anyone. So stop it!! Jeff Red was the plug to that connect, and there was no premeditated plan for me to replace anyone!! I said it clearly on What You Need, “here comes Mikey D “WITH” the Main Source”. So please stop comparing the two albums and making up some imaginary beef between us. Breaking Atoms was fun, well rounded, and full of hits. F*CK What You Think was raw, witty, and full of street shit because that’s what I was on at the time. And by the way, that album introduced The Warlocks, now known as The Lox. The 2 djays never tried to get me to go against Large Pro. Even before I got down we all had one person in common. PAUL C!! So quit comparing us and just look at us as 1. Those are my brothers and will always be!!
