Anyone who was at the early Hip Hop parties in the Boogie Down Bronx will remember these 2 sisters running through the parties screaming what would become Hip Hop’s crowd motivator. Lil Terri & Lil Debbie would run through the packed parties screaming “HOOOOO!!” The party people would look around in confusion like, “what the hell is going on?” Party after party they would run through each crowd screaming “HOOOOO!!” Eventually Keith Cowboy of The Furious 5 would see the sisters in the jams, and as a show of respect to them he would tell the crowd to say “HOOOOO!!” Thanks to Lil Debbie & Lil Terri, I still make the crowd say, “HOOOOO!!” at the start of all of my shows.
